Shrimp “I know it was you” Alfredo

The 5 Families 1/2 box fettuccini pasta 4 Tbs unsalted butter 1/2 Tbs minced garlic 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/4 tsp coarse ground salt 1/4 tsp dried oregano pinch of black pepper 1/2 cup grated parmesan 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella 10-12 shrimp (peeled and deveined)


1   Cook the pasta to ‘al dente’ according to the box instructions.  

2   In a large pan, melt the butter over Low Heat and add the garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes. 

3   Stir in the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and dried oregano. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 mins.  

4   Mix the two cheeses together. Add the cheese a small handful at a time and stir constantly until it melts before adding another handful. This will help keep it smooth and creamy. 

5   Add the shrimp and cook in the sauce for 2-3 mins. Flip the shrimp over and cook for another 2 mins. 

6   When the pasta is done cooking, strain the water out (or remove with tongs), and add the pasta to the sauce and shrimp. Give them a swirl-n-stir to get the sauce mixed in. Plate and enjoy. Mangia!
